Ellona Santiago was first introduced to viewers in season 1 of the X Factor USA. Her singing ability got her as far as bootcamp but LA Reid decided to throw her in a group called Intensity which went on to the top 16 and was eliminated after two performances. Although the group didn’t fare well Simon noted that he loved her and called her “the girl in the red jacket”. Arin Ray who was also in the group came back and made it to the top 12 on X Factor season 2. Demi promised if she had been a judge on season 1 she would have made it to finals. She is back in season 3 with vengeance.
She tweeted her excitement the night she made into the liveshows. Ellona sang Little Mix “Wings” during her audition in New Orleans and she gave the judges a run for their money. She got all 3 yeses since Paulina Rubio wasn’t there.

16 year old Ellona Santiago is from San Lorenzo California. She comes from a large family and has a huge support system back home but no one could make it because of work and school so her sister joined her. She knocked Demi, Kelly and Simon out of their seats with her strong vocals.
