Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition After Bus Crash in New Jersey
Actor, comedian and writer Tracy Morgan who became a household name for his role in the popular NBC series 30 Rock is in critical condition. He was involved in a six vehicle crash in New Jersey that killed the driver of his limo bus. Morgan is being treated for critical injuries at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick. Three others from his limo bus are also being treated at the hospital and authorities say one passenger has been pronounced dead.
Tracy Morgan made his acting debut in the series Martin, as hustleman. His long list of acting credits include several years on Saturday Night Live before joining his SNL co-star on 30 Rock. One of his most memorable characters on SNL was the flamboyant animal show host Brian Fellows. Morgan entered the movie world in 2003 starring alongside Chris Rock in “Head of State”. Morgan just completed filming three upcoming movies Nailed, The Boxtrolls and a tv movie entitled “Death Pact” slated to air later this year.
Morgan has been able to cash in big checks expanding his resume to endorsements and hosting major award shows. Tracy hosted the VH1 Hip Hop Honors, and the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. The 45 year old was born in Brooklyn New York. His father named him after a platoon mate who was shipped to fight in Vietnam with him and later died in battle. He married his high school sweetheart Sabina and the couple had three sons together. After 23 years of marriage the couple filed for divorce in 2009. He is currently engaged to model Megan Wollover. She gave birth to her first child and Morgan’s only daughter in 2013 Maven Sonae.
